Aspiring Scientists Summer Internship ProgramAspiring Scientists Summer Internship Program (ASSIP) at George Mason University. High school and undergraduate students engage in cutting edge scientific research related to Proteomics, Genomics, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Biodefense, Bioinformatics, Nanotechnology, and Environmental Science. Students gain hands-on experience performing cancer research, developing therapeutics, investigating neurological disorders, and designing nanoparticles for biomarker discovery.
